Accessing The Big Belt Hut In Winter

Getting There

Snowmobile + Ski

This is an 11 mile trip, with the first 8 miles on the Duck Creek Pass road (no winter maintenance). Then, from the non-motorized boundary at the top of the pass, you must ski the remaining 3 miles to the hut on Trail 151, gaining the final 1,000'.

The Winter Trailhead is a parking area on the left up Duck Creek road, a few hundred yards before the end of winter maintenance, click here for directions. This is where gear hauls will meet.
