Frequently asked questions

@threlkeldoutdoor
Are the yurts heated?

Yes! All of our yurts include wood-burning stoves. The Big Belt Hut has a fully-stocked woodshed and the Alpine and Lupine yurts have covered wood piles for snow protection. We provide axes and mauls for splitting.

What about cooking at the yurts?

We provide fully-stocked kitchens at each of the yurts with plates, bowls, mugs, cups, and flatware for the full hut capacity. We have cast-iron pans, stainless steel pots, and sharp knives (yes, really!).
